The Former Residence of Hua Guofeng is located in Xiping Village, Beixiaodian Township, Yangqu County, covering an area of 180 square meters. In December 1947, Hua Guofeng was appointed as Secretary of the CPC Xi Yangqu County Committee and Political Commissar of the County Brigade. After arriving in Yangqu County, Hua Guofeng led the military and civilians to correct the left-leaning deviation of the "Three Inspections," implement cadre policies, and command local county and district armed forces in battles against Yan's troops, continuously expanding the liberated areas. To understand the situation of the struggle against the enemy and the living conditions of the masses in various districts, Hua Guofeng traveled across mountains and valleys, visiting each district. In 1948, Hua Guofeng once stayed briefly in Xiping Village. The site consists of cave dwellings, which were built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and retains the desk and oil lamp used by Hua Guofeng at that time.

Beixiaodian Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Yangqu County. Established as the Beixiaodian People's Commune in 1961 and restructured as a township in 1984. It is located in the northern part of the county, 60 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 140.8 square kilometers with a population of 3,000, it is traversed by the Xi’an Highway.
