Xizhuang Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination.

Xizhuang Martyrs' Cemetery is located at Longmaotou in front of Miaoliang, southeast of Xizhuang Village, Xilingjing Township, Yangqu County. In November 1937, the 358th Brigade of the 120th Division of the Eighth Route Army advanced into the Xizhuang area of Yangqu and established the Xizhuang Anti-Japanese Base. On June 7, 1939, Japanese forces launched a surprise attack on the Xizhuang Base from multiple directions. Over 100 officers and soldiers of the Independent Regiment died heroically, and 23 civilians were brutally killed. On January 29, 1944, Liang Cundi, Secretary of the Third District Committee of Xiyangqu, and other comrades were holding a meeting when they were suddenly surrounded by a large force of Japanese puppet troops. Liang Cundi sacrificed himself heroically while covering his comrades’ escape. On February 1946, the martyr Liang Cundi was buried in his hometown, Xizhuang Village, and a monument was erected in his honor. In subsequent years, successive county party committees, county governments, and local cadres and masses buried the remains of many martyrs who had given their lives for the country in Xizhuang Village, forming the cemetery. In 1996, Xizhuang Martyrs' Cemetery was designated as a county-level key cultural relics protection unit by the Yangqu County Government.

Xizhuang Village: Xizhuang Village is 15 kilometers from the township government seat. It was formerly the seat of the Xizhuang Township government and was placed under the jurisdiction of Xilingjing Township after the merger of townships and towns in 2000. The village administers two natural villages, with a total of 176 households and 432 residents. It has over 2,200 mu of arable land, over 3,000 mu of forested land, and more than 1,100 sheep. The main sources of income for farmers are farming, animal husbandry, and migrant work. Around two-thirds of the population work outside the village year-round, and the per capita net income of farmers is 3,056 yuan.
