The Site of the Jiyin Massacre is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Site of the Jiyin Massacre is located on a dirt ridge about 100 meters northeast of Jiyin Natural Village, Yangjiazhang Village, Yangxing Township, Yangqu County. On January 18, 1941, due to the betrayal of a collaborator, over thirty Japanese puppet troops stationed in Nuan Chuan, Yangqu County, surrounded Jiyin Village. Most able-bodied men and women in the village escaped through the mountain gully behind the village and hid in the northern mountain gully. The elderly, weak, women, and children, unable to move quickly, took shelter in a cave used for storing firewood on the cliff of the eastern gully of the village. After entering the village, the Japanese troops searched everywhere. Upon hearing the cries of a child from the cave, the brutal Japanese squad leader Yoshida ordered the puppet troops to set fire to the firewood blocking the cave entrance. As a result, 27 elderly, weak, women, and children hiding inside were burned alive. Near the site, there are currently three old caves remaining, about 15 meters above ground level. Due to natural erosion, the cave entrances have collapsed and are mostly sealed off.

Yangjiazhang Village: Yangjiazhang Village in Yangxing Township is located 20 kilometers east-west of the township government. The village has 113 households, 285 residents, and 36 Party members. There are a total of 26 motorized tricycles and tractors in the village, and 60% of the labor force works outside. In 2010, the village’s total economic income was 724,000 yuan, with an average per capita net income of 2,369 yuan for farmers.

In recent years, over 5,000 square meters of village streets have been paved, with an investment of 280,000 yuan. Renovation of office buildings, lighting projects, and other infrastructure have seen an investment of 100,000 yuan.
