On the ridges of Shuangfeng Mountain in Badaogou and Pingfeng Mountain to the north of Yanji City, there are remnants of an ancient Great Wall and beacon towers, which are part of the Ancient Great Wall of Yanbian. The Ancient Great Wall of Yanbian starts from the slopes of Erdaogou Village, Dongshan Township, Tushan County, Helong County in the west, winding through Xicheng and Longmen Townships in Helong City, Xilinhe, Taoyuan, Tongfo in Longjing City, and the rugged mountains of Badao, Yanji, Chang’an Township, among others, before disappearing near Mopan Mountain, approximately 15 kilometers east of Yanji City. Mostly built from earth with some sections constructed of stone, the wall stretches about 150 kilometers in total, with 17 beacon towers discovered so far.
