Yanbian Baihe
The Baihe Nature Reserve is a provincial-level nature reserve in Jilin Province.
The climate here is classified as a mid-temperate humid monsoon climate: spring is dry and windy, June to August is rainy, autumn is cool, and winter is severe.
During the mild spring and autumn seasons, the animals often live in the broadleaf or mixed coniferous-broadleaf forests at lower altitudes. When midsummer arrives, the golden snub-nosed monkeys migrate to the slightly higher-altitude coniferous forest zones, where the climate is cool and the woods are shady and moist — truly an ideal place to escape the summer heat.
