The picturesque Youth Lake is located north of Yanji Bridge, on the banks of the Bu'erhatao River. The lakeside is lined with weeping willows and blooming flowers, and the clear water is perfect for boating and fishing. Youth Lake now features restaurants, cafés, and game arcades. Its urban location makes it a favorite spot among visitors. Young couples especially enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, and every morning and evening, many come here to study, chat, take walks, or practice exercises. During holidays, it becomes a popular playground for children.

Yanji People's Park is located on the banks of the Yanji River in the northwest part of the city. This historic park features towering ancient trees, blooming flowers year-round, as well as hills, water features, pavilions, terraces, and towers, making for a stunning landscape. The park is home to a zoo that houses rare animals such as Siberian tigers, sika deer, peacocks, and white swans. The amusement area in the park offers a variety of rides and attractions. To the north of the park lies a beautiful pine forest, where a small elevated platform holds a pavilion offering panoramic views of Yanji’s cityscape.
