Bath Pond Mountain

Bath Pond Mountain is located about 10 kilometers east of Yanji City, facing Chengzi Mountain across a valley. At the summit, there is a circular pond and a beacon tower on the mountainside. Legend has it that the pond was used by Puxian Wanhu, king of the Eastern Xia Kingdom—an independent regime during the late Jin Dynasty—for bathing. Local highlight: This is an ethnic Korean enclave with a strong local flavor where traditional Korean cuisine is exceptionally authentic.
