The print version of the 2017 Tokyo Michelin Guide is set to be released on December 2. However, similar to the 2017 Kyoto-Osaka Michelin Guide, it will also have a web version in collaboration with the renowned food website GURUNAVI, which will be available for free online access starting November 29. This year, a total of 227 restaurants have been awarded stars. The number of three-star restaurants has decreased from 13 to 12, among which four restaurants have maintained their three-star status for 10 consecutive years—these include Sukiyabashi Jiro Honten, the flagship restaurant of the “Sushi God,” as well as Kundan and Jo.
