In recent years, Japanese ramen shops have been popping up one after another in the Greater Taipei area, especially with the arrival of Japanese ramen chains, which has been a boon for many ramen enthusiasts. DailyView’s online sentiment meter, based on the volume of online discussions, further investigated the top ten most popular ramen shops with the highest ratings and discussion among netizens. Taking the top spot was Q Poga Tonkotsu King Ramen, Menya Musashi came in second, and Kagetsu Arashi ranked third.

Following Thailand and Macau, low-cost carrier "Tigerair Taiwan" is adding Vietnam to its route map. It is reported that the new Taiwan-Vietnam air services agreement has been largely finalized, with Tigerair Taiwan securing 16 weekly flights between Taiwan and Ho Chi Minh City as well as Hanoi.
