Taipei Winter Travel Expo Kicks Off – Check Out the Discounts First

The 5th Taipei International Travel Expo will grandly open at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center from January 9 to 12. This year, there are a total of 450 booths and 200 exhibitors participating. The expo venue is divided into four major exhibition areas: Overseas Travel Zone, Explore Taiwan Zone, Popular Souvenirs & Meal Voucher & Food Zone. So, what kind of discounted products will be available this year?

The organizers have rolled out great deals.Those who queue up at the Taipei World Trade Center lobby from 10 AM on January 9 to 11 and are among the first 100 ticket buyers can receive a free red envelope. They will also have the chance to participate in the special event “Fortune Smiles Upon You – Triple Lucky Giveaway,” where winners can take home round-trip flights to Japan or Korea or a premium New Year’s hot pot gift set for just NT$1.In addition, there will be 200 lucky red envelopes given away every day, and you might just walk away with a round-trip flight to Boracay.

International travel deals include up to NT$20,000 off on Princess Cruises and buy-one-get-one-free cruise packages; Chan Star Travel offers Thailand tours starting from NT$7,999 and a 5-day cherry blossom tour of Japan’s Kansai Three Major Cities starting from NT$33,900 including tax. EVA Air offers a 5-day Osaka trip starting from NT$10,999 excluding tax and a 5-day Hokkaido trip starting from NT$7,999 excluding tax; Metro Travel offers a 5-day Boracay trip with flights starting from just NT$3,999, among other discounted travel products. Domestic travel accommodation deals include Eastone Mountain Resort Hotel’s one-night stay with meals for four people, originally priced at NT$9,800, now specially priced at NT$3,880; Eastone Ocean Hot Spring Hotel’s premium two-day double room package, originally NT$10,800, now only NT$6,980.
