Does Kenting also have a “Bali”? The hidden beach is right here!

When you come to Kenting, the well-known and visited attractions are already familiar... So you always wonder where else you haven’t been?!! What other places are special?!! Actually, this private spot, the “Little Bali,” was something I discovered while doing research a couple of years ago... But it wasn’t until this year that I finally came here leisurely～Of course, the world of the internet spreads things quickly, and many private spots and hidden gems soon end up on everyone’s must-visit lists XD But thanks to that, I got the chance to discover that there are still many places in Kenting that I didn’t know about.

The name “Little Bali” is quite interesting... Of course, when you step into this little hidden gem yourself, you’ll understand the feeling it gives off！Walking through a one-person-wide thicket, ducking under a world of intertwined branches, you’ll find yourself at a “Little Bali” that’s different from most of Kenting’s beaches!

If you like hidden spots and places with fewer people, it’s really just about hoping to trade your arrival at a place for another kind of leisure... Park your car by the road, where both sides of the forked road already have quite a few cars, and follow the shaded path that’s already worn into the trees—I really love that little sense of adventure～First, you arrive at a sandy beach, where there might be some snorkelers, but the real “Little Bali” isn’t here. Keep turning right and go in, ducking under the tangle of branches...

The final stretch of beach is the place I wanted to reach!

Once you arrive at this piece of pristine land, it feels like you’ve stepped into a different time and space... Around ten in the morning, there aren’t many tourists or crowds！All you see is the early morning sunlight shining on the seawater and the rocks, making every second present different plays of light and shadow... Maybe when the clouds move a bit, the sunlight blocked on the sea darkens; maybe the next second the clouds drift away, and the sea reflects a sparkling awakening～

If you ask how big it is, believe me, it’s not as big as Nanwan... Maybe even smaller than Xiaowan！But the natural cluster of rocks acts like bodyguards, blocking the waves from the sea, slowing the water flow and increasing safety—so “Little Bali” has always been the best natural swimming pool for many kids and dogs... That day, I saw many dachshunds playing in the water, as well as snorkelers floating around, lost in thought...

And me, in this November weather, I loved the feeling of the seawater soaking my feet.

Every time I come to Kenting, it always makes me look forward to coming back again... If it were only two hours away from me, I believe I might come once a month！Actually, I’m a non-swimmer, but I love the sea!

The world is big, and there’s always a place for you！Whether you like being in the water, standing on rocks, snorkeling or fishing; whether you like kids or dogs... the world embraces all kinds of faces, it’s just that sometimes humans limit their own steps.

We stayed here for over an hour before leaving to go have lunch... I still remember the fun moments of taking selfies with the “selfie stick”; I still remember the group of dachshunds chasing after a big black dog fiercely; I still remember the scare of seeing a lizard run past my feet; I still remember that feeling of cool sea breeze and the warmth of the sun on my skin～

Remember the red sign up there? From the small path to its right, you can walk into “Little Bali”～If you’re not planning to go to Nanwan or Baisha Bay and want to find a lesser-known small beach, I recommend this place to you！No need to wait for summer, coming to Kenting now is just perfect～

The pace is just right, the temperature is just right, and the mood is very, very good.
