Taiwan Railways displays train information on large LCD screens – visible when buying tickets or passing through gates
It's now more convenient to stay updated on train info! To provide passengers with more timely, complete, and accurate train information, Taiwan Railways has activated an incident information broadcast system at service counters and boarding gates in Taipei Station since December 2014. In the event of major incidents, train information will be displayed on large LCD screens, ensuring the latest updates are visible both before ticket purchase and before entering the gates. Based on the results, this system will be gradually rolled out to other major stations in the future.

Taipei Children's New Park opened on the 16th of last month and was massively overcrowded throughout the New Year’s holiday, drawing in 37,000 visitors per day. On average, queuing for each ride exceeded one hour, and popular attractions like the Ferris wheel had waits as long as two hours. In addition, the food street was also packed, with long waits just to find seating. To ease the crowds, vendors even started selling boxed meals on order—and those sold out instantly, showing just how appealing the Children’s New Park still is to everyone!
