Taiwan Railways displays train information on large LCD screens – visible when buying tickets or passing through gates

It's now more convenient to stay updated on train info! Taiwan Railways announced on the 3rd that in the past, when trains were delayed, stations would use announcements and handwritten notices placed in key locations to improve the dissemination of train information. To provide passengers with more timely, complete, and accurate train information, an incident information broadcast system was launched at service counters and boarding gates in Taipei Station starting December 2014. In the event of major incidents, train information will be displayed on large LCD screens, ensuring the latest updates are visible both before ticket purchase and before entering the gates. Based on the results, this system will be gradually rolled out to other major stations in the future.
