Taipei Children's New Park opened on the 16th of last month and was massively overcrowded throughout the New Year’s holiday,with 37,000 visitors flooding in daily, and an average wait of over one hour for each attraction. Popular rides like the Ferris wheel had queues up to two hours long.Moreover, the food street was equally packed, and finding a seat took quite a while. To alleviate the crowd, vendors even began offering takeaway boxed meals—which sold out instantly—showing just how magnetic the Children's New Park remains to the public!

The super thrilling free-fall ride makes it nearly impossible not to scream, but riding it once requires enduring a serious test of queueing patience. During the holiday break, Taipei Children's New Park was nearly bursting at the seams. Whether it was thrilling or mild rides, you had to wait your turn, with even the quickest attractions requiring at least an hour’s wait.

Many visitors entered right when the park opened, yet after three hours in the park hadn’t managed to ride a single attraction—and that’s no exaggeration. Especially for the highly sought-after Fruit Ferris Wheel, enjoying the beautiful view meant waiting in line for over two hours, leaving many visitors feeling overwhelmed.Even the merry-go-round, which lasts less than a minute, requires nearly an hour of waiting—just for that one minute of thrill.

Beyond the rides, even the food street had long queues. It was common to see people unable to find seats and eating while walking, and even after finishing their meal, they still couldn’t find a place to sit. On the first day of the New Year’s holiday alone, with over 37,000 visitors, the stalls couldn’t keep up with meal demand, so vendors urgently ordered 1,000 boxed meals to sell—and those sold out just as fast.
