Meiling Liangjiang Pavilion

The Meiguan Ancient Road was the shortest overland route connecting the Pearl River and Yangtze River systems in ancient times. "Liangjiang Pavilion" (Two Rivers Pavilion) takes its name from this meaning. Composed of the "Pearl River Pavilion" and the "Yangtze River Pavilion," the Liangjiang Pavilion is situated atop a mountain at an altitude of 522.5 meters, where the Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces meet along the Meiguan Ancient Road. It is a two-story building, with the ground floor in an octagonal shape and the upper floor in a square shape, symbolizing the "four directions and eight orientations."

Transportation

By car: Starting from Shaoguan, enter the Shaoguan–Ganzhou Expressway and exit at the Meiguan Ancient Road interchange, then turn onto National Highway G323. Drive straight along G323 and look for the sign on your right that says “Meiguan Ancient Road Scenic Area Parking Lot.”

By bus: Take a direct bus from the square of Shaoguan East Railway Station to Nanxiong City Bus Terminal, then transfer to a local bus heading to the Meiguan Ancient Road.
