Also known as the “Dingxi Weir,” the Double-Heart Stone Weir boasts a long history of over 700 years. It is located in the northern part of Qimei Township, Penghu County, and is the most well-preserved among the many stone weirs in the Penghu area. It is formed by the arrangement of many stones, and the two large hearts can be seen more clearly from above. After viewing the Double-Heart Stone Weir from the air, you can go down to the water to walk and play. The seawater in the nearby area is clear and blue. If the water level is not high or if it is during low tide, you might even walk inside the Double-Heart Stone Weir — it feels as if the hearts are embracing you, creating a very romantic atmosphere.
