On August 19th, the “Blue Highway Tour of Penghu” event kicks off. In recent years, maritime tourism in Penghu has seen a surge in visitors. With the Longbu route opening at the end of April this year, activities such as a boat ticket lottery and the Longmen Underground Tunnel Summer Camp are being organized to encourage tourists to experience various “blue highways” like the Longbu, Mabu, and Magao routes. Attractions include the breathtaking sunset at Longmen Port and dazzling nightly fireworks, offering visitors a brand-new experience of traveling across Taiwan and Penghu.

On August 28th, the Qixi Valentine's Day celebration lights up the romantic romance. On the scenic Shanshui Beach, enjoy a romantic beach sunset wedding fashion show, beachside concerts, and stunning wish-making fireworks in the night sky. Couples and friends from all over are invited to join in the festivities and celebrate the most heartwarming Valentine’s Day.

Starting on September 11th, the two-week-long “Roll On, Makung!” Old Town Rock Festival begins. The first day features a beautiful fireworks display blessing the rebirth of the old town at Guanyin Pavilion. Over the two weeks, events include a street performers’ gathering, umbrella rock concerts, tours of Makung’s iconic old shops, storytelling tours of Makung, and a parade through Makung with the Global Tourism Queen and Penghu’s martial palanquin — blending tradition and modernity to create a uniquely dynamic “Makung City.”
