Feilai Temple is located halfway up the mountain, where the slopes are steep and high — elderly people and those with poor health should proceed with caution. There are three pavilions along the way for visitors to rest, and it took us nearly an hour to climb up. The original Feilai Temple was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, and the current structure was rebuilt on the original site in recent years with funds raised by local communities. However, from Feilai Temple, you can clearly see the full view of the long, narrow Heijing Town nestled between two mountains. From here, you can also continue along the mountain path to the Monks’ Tomb Cluster at Wanchun Mountain.
