Chengdu Nongke Village Tourist Attraction is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

“Nongke Village” is situated in Pixian County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, the origin of the “farmhouse leisure” concept, and is hailed as the “village blooming with flowers and an unwalled park.” The village’s nursery stock and flower cultivation area exceeds 300 acres (including courtyards), with major floral species including golden ball cypress, ginkgo, osmanthus, crabapple, and banyan. Various potted plants, cuttings, and shaped forms showcase distinctive features, while high-end woody and herbaceous flowers are found throughout the area. The village can undertake large-scale greening projects and has become a key floral supply base for Chengdu, with products exported across China and to Southeast Asia.

The main focus of farm tourism in Youai Town’s Nongke Village originated in the 1980s, when local farmers leveraged their expertise in Sichuan-style potted plants and nurseries to attract urban visitors for farmhouse meals, scenic views, rural accommodations, leisure experiences, and local product shopping. Currently, there are over 180 households (including outside investors) engaged in rural folk tourism services, receiving an average of 120,000 visitors per year. Spacious and comfortable quadrangle dwellings and buildings are adorned with calligraphy and paintings, some created by notable figures. Visitors enjoy tea, flower viewing, reading, and chess in leisure time. Urbanites retreat to Nongke Village to savor authentic rural cuisine, immerse themselves in natural scenery, return to simplicity, reconnect with nature, and revel in a peaceful, idyllic atmosphere.
