Regarding the significance of the exhibition, Wu Hongyan, Deputy District Chief of Pidu District, Chengdu, stated at the press conference that the8th China International RV Camping Conference (Chengdu Station) is a joint introduction project by the Pidu District People's Government of Chengdu, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Tourism, and the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Expositions. As the largest RV camping exhibition in Asia, it will settle in Chengdu on October 20 this year, injecting new vitality into the outdoor tourism industry of Chengdu and even the entire Greater Southwest. Leveraging the power of the exhibition and implementing a series of favorable measures to promote the development of Chengdu's outdoor tourism industry, the Chengdu Municipal Government plans to build Chengdu into China’s "largest outdoor tourism distribution center" in the coming years, achieving the goals of "internationalization, full-region coverage, industrialization, and informatization" for the distribution center.

The 2017 Chengdu International RV Camping and Outdoor Tourism Exhibition will consist of the Chengdu International Outdoor Tourism and RV Camping Industry Development Summit Forum, the opening ceremony, and the 8th China International RV Camping Conference (Chengdu Station). This exhibition will be themed"Discover the RV World · Enjoy Leisurely Outdoor Travel," featuring two sections: RV camping and outdoor tourism. It will cover displays of RVs and accessories, outdoor equipment, campsite equipment, campsite design and planning, wooden houses, travel goods, and more, as well as the annual meeting of the Sichuan RV Family Club. The expected exhibition area exceeds 50,000 square meters, allowing residents in the Southwest to closely view and purchase the latest and highest-quality products from well-known domestic and international RV camping manufacturers and dealers.

During the exhibition, the"Chengdu International RV Camping and Outdoor Tourism Summit Forum" will be held.
