“Travel through movies!” Zhongjia Group pioneers a new “entertainment & cultural tourism” model, launching four film and television works in its first phase
On the morning of November 26, 2019, Zhongjia Group, along with its subsidiaries and film production crews, held a press conference at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan. The event announced the group’s development strategy and the four film and television projects in preparation.
Zhongjia Group’s information strategy was officially unveiled—Zhongjia Group will build a diversified service platform integrating entertainment, cultural tourism, technology, and public welfare.

According to Chief Director Yin Yue, the press conference unveiled three large-scale feature films and one TV series produced by the group.
The film Panda Love Corridor is jointly created by Zhongjia Group and the Chongzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government. It promotes the field protection of the national treasure panda, the humanistic history and natural scenery of western Sichuan, and pioneers global panda culture film creation in the new internet era, as well as the development of film-related merchandise. This project has entered the shooting phase and is scheduled to wrap up and be released in 2020.

The Silk Road style film Red Skirt, Winter Sunshine, directed by Yin Yue, plans to invite acclaimed director Chen Kaige as the film’s chief advisor and Andy Lau as executive producer to co-create an epic blockbuster serving as a bridgehead along the Belt and Road. Combining the “entertainment + cultural tourism” model, it aims to establish the “Silk Road Station” tourism complex brand along the Belt and Road, presenting a panoramic view of cultural confidence in the new era.

The film Passion for the Battle Flag is based on the real entrepreneurial story of Zhanqi Village in Pidu District, which was visited by President Xi. It promotes the touching story of how, under the leadership of the Party, the people have created a better life and built a new socialist countryside on the road to rural revitalization. The screenwriter has already conducted on-site research and immersive living experiences, with the film expected to be released on the third anniversary of President Xi’s visit to the village.

The large-scale TV series Revolutionary Ideals Are Higher Than Heaven has received strong support from the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Government, with specific guidance from the Provincial Party Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party History Office. It depicts the life of Comrade Luo Shiwen, Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee during a special era, Acting Secretary of the Sichuan Provisional Working Committee, Secretary of the Sichuan-Kangding Special Committee, Head of the 18th Army Group Chengdu Office, and Director of the Xinhua Daily Chengdu Branch. The script is expected to be delivered to the Central Propaganda Department’s Major Projects Office after the Spring Festival next year for production to begin, with anticipated broadcast during prime time on CCTV-1 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party.

At the same time, Zhongjia Group will launch an information-based public welfare platform—“Datian Circle.” Relying on technologies such as big data, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and smart agriculture, it will establish a customized community e-commerce platform, supporting the operations of original producers, providing urban community residents with green, healthy, and affordable agricultural products, and combining local culture to create indigenous cultural and creative IPs, while supporting urban residents’ participation in public welfare.

Ms. Pang Xiaoqin, Chairwoman of Zhongjia Group, introduced that the group positions itself as a supplier of high-performing cultural tourism products. Abandoning the traditional single-point, single-domain project development model, it pioneers the “entertainment & cultural tourism” concept. It maximizes the value of every inch of land, minimizes asset loss during development, continues the humanistic legacy, and practices corporate social responsibility. In future development, the group will also provide an end-to-end “one-stop” value-added service path covering film production, cultural (agricultural) tourism project development, investment attraction and operational management, and brand output. Additionally, the group is establishing an open and win-win platform-based business environment, attracting talents from all fields, and welcoming strategic cooperation with independent artists, startup teams, and consulting advisors. Internally, the group will also use a partnership mechanism to build a platform-based structure that attracts and retains more outstanding talents to achieve great things together.
Attendees of this press conference included leaders from Sichuan Province, Chengdu City, Turpan City, Chongzhou City, Pidu District, and Weiyuan County, as well as guests, experts, and scholars from numerous partner organizations, peers from the film and television industry, and representatives from major news media and journalists.
