The 24th China International RV & Camping Congress (Chengdu) 2019 Concluded Successfully
From October 24 to 27, the 3rd Chengdu International RV, Camping & Outdoor Tourism Exhibition and the 24th China International RV & Camping Congress (Chengdu) 2019, themed “Leading the Future of China’s RV Industry,” came to a successful close. The event was guided by the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Exposition, the People's Government of Pidu District, Chengdu, the Pidu District Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Sports, Broadcasting, and New Media, the Pidu District Bureau of Commerce, and the Youai Subdistrict Office of Pidu District, Chengdu. It was organized by 21st Century RV, RV World, the Chengdu RV, Camping & Self-Drive Tourism Association, and Beijing Camper RV Exhibition Co., Ltd., and hosted by Sichuan Camper RV Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Palm World RV Campsite.
Welcomed 57,200 Visitors with Strong Demand and Supply on Both Ends
The 3rd Chengdu International RV, Camping & Outdoor Tourism Exhibition has been further improved based on two years of successful experience. This edition covered an area of 50,000 square meters, gathering 177 domestic and international RV and camping brands, with over 540 vehicles on display. According to statistics, by the end of the exhibition, it had attracted 57,200 visitors, with 392 units sold on-site and a total transaction value of 139 million yuan. The exhibited categories included various RV industry products such as RVs, chassis manufacturing, RV parts, campsite design, campsite equipment, cabins, and outdoor gear.
Hundreds of well-known domestic and international brands gathered in Pidu District, Chengdu, including Yutong Kailenbene, Jinghang, Tuorest, Lanzhong, JMC, Yate, SAIC MAXUS, DEDON, Qixing, Sino-US Nuoyou, Guanlin, Huayun, Weihao, Lingyang, Said, Kuanhe Yima, Benshield, Chuangqishanshan, Shunyu, Phoenix, Eden, Xinfei, Fengchao, Huachen, Hengyu, Simei, Xinyuan, Jingmei, Meizhong, Aolv, Huabao, Qiaoxiang, Yutai, Huabao, Meijing Meijia, Sunshine Shangyou, Nanjixing, Zhengyueli, Deyiyuan RV, Chengzhan, Bingdian Xiansheng, Suxing, Xiongdi Jiadeng, Bafang Ruijie, Gaoze, Xijie, Ouboya, Arena, Hongshengda, Ruisaite, Bulin Outdoor, Yugong Outdoor, and others, all showcasing their latest products and technologies. Many exhibitors noted that compared to last year’s Chengdu International RV, Camping & Outdoor Tourism Exhibition, this year saw more professional visitors, presenting a comprehensive and exciting RV and camping event for exhibitors, attendees, and RV enthusiasts across Southwest China.

Nearly 20 Exciting Concurrent Events Took Place On-Site
During the exhibition, events such as the 2019 China (Chengdu) International Outdoor Tourism & RV Camping Industry Summit Forum and the 5th Anniversary Seminar of the “China Tourism Dual-Line Theory,” interactive sessions for RV tourism end-users and enthusiasts led by 21st Century RV co-founder Wang Xudong in collaboration with industry experts and seasoned RV owners — including “How to Choose the Right RV for You,” “How to Plan the Perfect RV Trip – Domestic Edition,” and “How to Plan the Perfect RV Trip – International Edition” — helped guide consumers and industry professionals to gain a more scientific and in-depth understanding of RV camping knowledge, spread RV camping culture, and expand the RV camping market. Many of these sharing sessions were fully booked and highly praised.
The 24th China International RV & Camping Congress (Chengdu) 2019 Was Held Concurrently
During the camping congress, cultural exchange activities were also held, including the 21RV RV Family Food Fellowship, the 2020 RV Family Eurasia Tour Meetup, and the 21RV National RV Enthusiasts Exchange Meeting. Nearly 290 RVs and over 500 RV family members gathered to share RV stories. The event also attracted self-drive clubs, RV camping, and outdoor camping enthusiasts from across the country, encouraging more tourists and families to return to nature and enjoy the boundless pleasures of RV outdoor camping life. It enhanced interaction between local Pidu District RV enthusiasts and those from around the world, expanded Pidu District’s international influence, and promoted the development of local tourism.
Additionally, the exhibition area featured a Pidu Tourism Culture Display Zone and a Pidu Specialty Food Zone, including Pidu’s signature Shu embroidery, Juancheng-brand douban (chili bean paste), and snacks from Yulongxuan, allowing visitors to sample local delicacies and experience Pidu’s tourism culture.
"RV Enthusiasts Unite, Build Dreams in Daofo" – RV Family Public Welfare Education Support Activity
On October 27, 21st Century RV and the RV Family, together with the People's Government of Daofo County, Garzê Prefecture, and the Pidu District Federation of Industry and Commerce of Chengdu, organized a group of caring RV Family members for the third time to visit Daofo County, Garzê Prefecture, to carry out the "RV Enthusiasts Unite, Build Dreams in Daofo" public welfare education support activity.
As of now, a total of 45,625.77 yuan in charitable donations has been raised through RV companies, RV Family members, and 21st Century RV. On the morning of October 28, the "RV Enthusiasts Unite, Build Dreams in Daofo" RV Family public welfare education support convoy officially departed from Chengdu, driving all the way to Daofo to deliver the donations to children in need.
