Huanglongtan Tourist Resort is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national wetland park.

The Shiyan Huanglongtan Tourist Resort is situated on the banks of the Du River in the western suburbs of Shiyan City, northwestern Hubei Province, surrounding the Huanglongtan Hydropower Plant in Shiyan, Hubei. It is a dazzling jewel of hydropower on the Du River. The resort was developed and constructed by the Hubei Huanglongtan Hydropower Plant, where modern industrial civilization and natural ecological culture are perfectly integrated.

The Huanglongtan Tourist Resort was developed and constructed by the Hubei Huanglongtan Hydropower Plant. Over the years, the plant has thoroughly implemented the Scientific Outlook on Development. High-quality, tasteful greenery landscapes such as the “Cherry Blossom Avenue,” “Bayberry Avenue,” “Red Maple Grove,” and “Bonsai Garden” embody the ecological vision of optimized surroundings, beautiful scenery, and colorful ambiance.

To provide better services to visitors, the resort has expanded the Hydropower Hotel and built a simulation training center, sports venues, and an outdoor adventure base, enhancing both the reception capacity and the overall quality of the resort. The guest room section of the Hydropower Hotel offers 80 rooms of various types, including luxury suites, single rooms, and standard rooms. There are nine meeting rooms with different functions, capable of hosting conferences, training sessions, and business meetings for 25 to 200 people. The dining area spans 1,800 square meters and includes 12 elegantly designed private rooms of varying sizes, as well as two spacious and simply decorated banquet halls that can accommodate up to 600 diners at once. The Shiyan Jiulong Power Vocational Skills Training Center boasts a strong faculty, a refined teaching environment, a rich cultural atmosphere, and an excellent social reputation. Self-driving Route: From Shiyan City, head due north onto Checheng West Road — pass Fangshan Road and the Chahexiang Village on the right, continue straight onto Huaguo Road — pass the Huaguo Limin Midea Brand Store and continue straight onto Xicheng Road — destination. Take Bus 201 directly to the resort.
