Asia’s only entry on the list!“Hualien Harmony Hotel” crowned the world’s best family-friendly hotel

The world’s largest travel review website, TripAdvisor, recently announced the winners of its 2017 Travellers’ Choice Awards, and Hualien Harmony Hotel, under the Yunlun Tourism Group, was named the world’s No. 1 family-friendly hotel—and the only Asian hotel to win the award.

Hualien Harmony Hotel is the world’s first Jimmy Liao-themed hotel, bringing the beloved characters from Jimmy Liao’s picture books to the beautiful mountains and seas of Hualien. Adorable artistic installations are scattered throughout the hotel, both inside and out, and there are also healing Jimmy Liao-themed rooms that are loved by travelers from around the world.

In TripAdvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice Awards, Hualien Harmony Hotel secured four top honors: World’s Best Family-Friendly Hotel, Asia’s Best Family-Friendly Hotel, Taiwan’s Best Family-Friendly Hotel, and Taiwan’s Best Hotel.

In addition, other hotels under the Yunlun Tourism Group—Yunpin Hot Spring Hotel, Kaohsiung Harmony Hotel, and Taichung Zhaopin Hotel—also achieved outstanding results in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards. For example, Yunpin Hot Spring Hotel was named Taiwan’s Most Luxurious Hotel No. 1, Taiwan’s Best Hotel, and Taiwan’s Best Service Hotel; Kaohsiung Harmony Hotel was awarded Taiwan’s Best Hotel, while Taichung Zhaopin Hotel received the title of Taiwan’s Best Family-Friendly Hotel.
