The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge connects the three cities of Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macao, forming a one-day living circle, and also provides access to other cities in the Greater Bay Area via a well-developed transport network. With Hong Kong as the starting point, visiting key attractions across the region has become more convenient.

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the world’s longest sea-crossing bridge-tunnel combination. It stretches 55 kilometers from the Hong Kong Artificial Island near Hong Kong International Airport to the west, connecting Zhuhai and Macao—equivalent in length to 20 times that of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, USA.

Listed by the UK’s The Guardian as one of the “seven modern wonders of the world nearing completion,” the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge not only used enough steel plates to build 60 Eiffel Towers, but also has a designed lifespan of 120 years—far exceeding the typical 100-year span of most sea-crossing bridges. This world-class cross-border bridge is expected to become a new landmark for Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
