Stone Buddha Temple: Located in Maotasi Village on the upper reaches of Beixing River in Shuangtai Township, it is a renowned ancient temple in the Qinba Mountain region. Originally built in the eighth year of the Guangxu reign, it was established by Master Yinguang, the thirteenth patriarch of the Pure Land Sect, along with Buddhist laypeople from Zhushan. It was heavily damaged during the Cultural Revolution. In 2000, with the approval of the county government, it was rebuilt with funds collected by Buddhist lay practitioners in Zhushan, and Master Benjue (Shi Ben Xiajue), abbot of Lumen Temple in Xiangyang, was invited to serve as the presiding monk. The restoration work has taken initial shape, with resplendent halls inside the temple, and three large Buddha statues (namely Sakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, and Bhaisajyaguru Buddha) that are vivid and glistening in gold. Outside the main hall, there are bell and drum towers, a chanting hall, and a residence building for lay Buddhists, covering a total construction area of about 3,000 square meters. It is located 45 kilometers from Zhushan County and 120 kilometers from Shiyan City. It is the only Buddhist site of activity within the Shiyan area. On each Buddhist commemorative day, the temple receives no fewer than ten thousand visitors who come to sightsee, offer incense, and worship, making it a place of flourishing religious activity.

Shuangtai Township: When Pangu created the world and Nüwa mended the sky with stones, the shattered rocks and her sweat fell upon the northern gateway of Zhushan County — the birthplace of the Ten Stars — transforming into the winding Sacred Mother Mountain and Loquat Mountain, as well as the ceaselessly flowing Beixing River and Nanyu River. Amidst these landscapes, the vast, well-connected, and resource-rich Shuangtai Township came into being.

Shuangtai Township is situated in the Qinba Mountain Range and borders six townships across two provinces and three counties: Kazi Town and Zhongchang Township of Baihe County in Shaanxi Province, Baoxia Town of Yun County, Majiadu Town, Yishui Town, and LouTai Township of Zhushan County.
