Jijiling Site

The Jijiling Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Hubei Province.

Jijiling Site

A Neolithic site situated in Jijiling Village, Luoyang Town, Zengdu District, Suizhou City, spanning roughly 100,000 square meters with cultural layers about 3 meters in depth and abundant archaeological content. Excavations have revealed numerous large house foundations, pottery workshops, and burial sites, along with the discovery of important relics including stone tools, pottery, and jade artifacts. This site is of considerable value for researching the origins of civilization and the history and culture of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. (Fifth Batch)
