Zengdu Wenfeng Pagoda is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Zengdu Wenfeng Pagoda

Located in Wenfeng Road, Zengdu District, Suizhou City, Hubei Province. Its original construction date is unknown, but it was renovated during the Daoguang and Guangxu eras of the Qing Dynasty. The pagoda faces southeast and sits northwest. It is an octagonal, seven-story brick-and-stone pavilion-style tower with a distinct tapering body. The base measures 3.02 meters on each side, and the pagoda stands 26.24 meters tall. The first story is built with bluestone, featuring a stone arched gate on the front, with stone steles embedded on both sides that record the reasons for building the pagoda. Stories two through seven are constructed from plain blue bricks and are all equipped with arched windows. This pagoda is considered a fine example among the existing feng shui towers in Hubei Province. (Fifth Batch)
