Taibo Peak derives its name from its majestic and imposing presence, as if it were an extension of the mighty Mount Tai. It is the highest peak on the Jiaodong Peninsula, standing at an elevation of 923 meters, and is known as the “Roof of Jiaodong.” The peak rises proudly, towering and steep, grand and rugged. Main attractions in the Taibo Peak scenic area include the Water Curtain Cave. A clear spring gushes from a crevice in the rocks, flowing over jagged stones and into a pool. The slender streams converge and disperse like a curtain of pearls swaying in the wind. The water curtain shimmers with rainbow hues under sunlight, falling into a pool spanning 2,000 square meters. With emerald hills, crystal-clear water, uniquely shaped rocks, and a serene pond, the area offers stunning scenery year-round and serves as a natural oxygen bar.
