Heping District Youth Palace serves as a science education base.

Over the years, Heping District Youth Palace has built a high-level team of science education instructors centered around science education. It currently features specialized facilities such as a robotics studio, an aviation model studio, a radio engineering lab, a radio direction finding lab, an invention studio, a computer studio, a TTS studio, and a biology and environment studio. Over the past decade, these studios have played an important role in youth science and technology education and in fostering hands-on skills among young people. The Heping Youth Palace has achieved commendable results in various national and municipal competitions.
