The Kunlong Hot Spring Tourist Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Kunlong Hot Spring Tourist Area was invested and built by Andeli Group, whose headquarters is located in Muping District, Yantai, Shandong. The company’s main business sectors include green food, cogeneration of heat and power, and health & wellness tourism. Kunlong Hot Spring represents an upgrade and breakthrough for Andeli Group in the health & wellness tourism industry.

In October 1986, the then General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee — Bang — visited Longquan in Muping, Yantai, and gladly inscribed the words “Kunlong Hot Spring.”

The Kunlong Hot Spring project has a total investment of 2 billion yuan, covering a planned area of 773 mu. Construction began in 2017, and it officially opened on August 1, 2019. Kunlong Hot Spring draws on the Taoist cultural legends of Mount Kunyu, builds upon hot spring culture, and integrates traditional Chinese medical therapies to create a “sixth-generation hot spring” premium experience in line with national 4A-level scenic area standards. Its offerings include a wellness hot spring zone, dynamic hot spring zone, SPA wellness zone, eco-dining area, high-end business area, multi-functional conference hall, KTV entertainment, guest rooms, and hot spring cottages and courtyards.

The spring water at Kunlong Hot Spring has a shallow water outlet layer, large volume, and moderate temperature (averaging between 52°C–58°C), containing over 60 trace minerals. Among them, the metasilicic acid content is 67.50 mg/L and fluoride is 8 mg/L, both meeting the national medical mineral water quality standards for the naming criteria of “silicate water” and “fluoride water,” offering benefits such as skin beautification, improved sleep, enhanced immunity, and better metabolism.

Kunlong Hot Spring enjoys a superior geographical location, surrounded by pleasant natural scenery and convenient transportation. It is situated at the northern foot of Mount Kunyu, a national-level forest park and a millennium-old site of Taoist cultural heritage. Leveraging this natural forest oxygen bar, it not only highlights the concept of natural ecological wellness but also embodies the profound essence of hot spring wellness culture.
