The former headquarters of the Railway Guerrilla Unit is a cultural heritage site protected by Weishan County.

The former headquarters of the Railway Guerrilla Unit is located in Muqian Village, Weishan Island Town, dating back to the Qing Dynasty and modern times.

It was announced as part of the fifth batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Weishan County on October 24, 2019.

Muqian Village: Muqian Village is located in the southwest of Weishan Island Township, 1.8 kilometers from the township seat. The Party Branch Secretary of the village is Gao Chaofa, and the Director of the Village Committee is Zhang Bo. Established in 1984, the village got its name because it is located in front of Zhang Liang’s Tomb. There are four main surnames among the villagers: Yao, Gao, Zhang, and Tian, with Yao, Gao, and Zhang being the most common. The village has 4 villager groups, 382 households, and 1,274 residents. It spans 389 meters from east to west and 260 meters from north to south. The arable land covers 600 mu, with main crops including wheat and corn; forest (fruit) area is 200 mu; aquaculture area is 3,000 mu; there are 15 specialized livestock farming households raising 32 pigs...
