The Fangzhuang West Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

The Fangzhuang West Site is located in the western part of Fangzhuang Village, Huancheng Town, and dates back to the Han Dynasty. It is a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

Huancheng Town: Huancheng Town is situated in the central part of Weishan County, on the eastern shore of Zhaoyang Lake, and is one of the important transportation hubs in southwestern Shandong. Ten li to the west lies the Erji Dam control gate, bordering Pei County of Jiangsu Province, while five li to the east it adjoins Zaozhuang City. It is often said that “one bridge divides two provinces, and ten li connects three counties.” The town has an irregular diamond shape, stretching 15 km from southeast to northwest and 10 km from east to west, covering a total area of 133.4 square kilometers. It administers 8 management areas and 77 administrative villages, with a total population of 96,000 and cultivated land area of 65,000 mu.
