Tomb of Jiang Shiquan

The Tomb of Jiang Shiquan is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

Located west of Wenjia Bridge in Chenjiazhai, at Dongjiawu. The tomb is built of bluestone, flanked by stone drums on both sides, with a central tombstone inscribed as follows: “The tomb of the late Jiang Gong Xinyu, father of distinction, who was conferred the title of Chengde Lang by imperial decree, routinely promoted to Attendant Gentleman of the Directorate, Compiler of the Hanlin Academy, and soon-to-be Censor.” The tombstone is embedded in a bluestone pavilion, which stands 1.3 meters high and 1 meter wide. The western side bears a couplet: “At Mount Lu, paying homage to Su Dongpo with eight verses and one turning phrase; in Shanyin, joining Lu You in nine thousand poems containing ten thousand lines.” The horizontal inscription reads “Integrity and Literary Achievement.” The tomb site remains intact. In 1959, the Provincial People’s Committee designated it as a key cultural relic protection unit of the entire province.
