Shidongkou Nuo God Temple is located in Fengquan Administrative Village, Chishan Town. It was first built during the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty (1369 AD), with renovations of unclear date. The Nuo temple is three bays wide and three bays deep, featuring a hip-and-gable roof. In front of the temple is a tall wind-and-rain pavilion, with side rooms and a tavern on either side—all well-preserved, covering an area of 550 square meters. The original wind-and-rain pavilion and the tavern stage were destroyed and have since been rebuilt.

According to historical records and the Du family genealogy: “Du Chuanfang, son of Du Guizhen who was a successful candidate in the imperial examinations at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, led his clansmen to build the temple. It was relocated here from the foot of the opposite mountain in the second year of the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty. The temple enshrines the three main deities: Tang, Ge, and Zhou.”
