Baozhu Village

The village and rice fields are embraced by lush ancient trees. Covered bridges are built at both the entrance and end of the village to retain the feng shui. From a high vantage point, the Fuwei River resembles a green ribbon, meandering from the foot of the mountain near Lingyun Bridge to the base of the mountain by Sanfeng Bridge. The two bridges on the mountaintops are about five or six hundred meters apart, while the river winds for over ten thousand meters at the foot of the hills. The scattered farmhouses are like an old zither, playing the deep and distant melodies of “Spirit Turtle Breathing Mist,” “Twin Rainbows Resting on the Waves,” “Rock Chicken Singing at Dawn,” “Stone Chime Transmitting Sound,” “East Grove Swaying Moon,” “North Hill Soaring Clouds,” “Red Cliff Waterfall,” and “Dragon Pool Breeze.”
