The flower sea at Dunhuang Wharf is in full bloom and absolutely beautiful. The flower viewing period starts on4the(2latter half)of the month, and we recommend all visitors to enjoy a springtime outing during the Spring Festival. During the day, you can cycle and admire the flower sea, and at night, you can also take in the beautiful waterfront night view of Greater Taipei.

Flower seas were also planted at Dunhuang Wharf last year, but this year the number of plantings has increased, with72,000pots of flowers creating a floral carpet design, including pink sage, yellow lantana, and red and pink varieties of begonia, which are spectacular and eye-catching. The plaza green space has instantly transformed into a vibrant display of the earth’s colorful beauty, bringing the rich and beautiful colors of spring to Taipei’s riverside in winter.

The flower sea is located beneath the Dihua Levee Crossing Landscape Platform. It is recommended that the public enter from Dadaocheng Wharf, which has parking and a riverside bike rental station. You can stroll along the riverside trail to enjoy the landscape, and if you cycle for about10-15minutes, you can reach the flower sea. You can also climb onto two nearby levee crossing landscape platforms, where you can not only overlook the entire flower sea but also see many planes flying across the sky.
