The Twin Pagodas are a cultural relics protection unit of Yanping District.

The Twin Pagodas are located in Taxia Village and Jiufengshan in Shuidong Subdistrict, Yanping District, dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

The Twin Pagodas have been designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Taxia Village: Located in the suburbs of Nanping City, on the eastern bank of the junction between the Jianxi River and the Min River, along both sides of Gongye Road, Taxia Village enjoys convenient transportation. The village covers an area of 19.25 square kilometers and comprises six natural villages: Yangdan, Dajia Factory, Shili’an, Guochang, and Mazhan, with a total of 697 households and 2,116 residents. The land area is approximately 18,580 mu. The village boasts superior natural conditions and features historical sites such as Jinfeng’an, Xiangshan’an, and Fayun Temple. Due to the continuous expansion of the urban area, major projects such as Nanping South Railway Station and the urban complex of Nanping High-Tech Development Zone have been established within the village’s location.
