The Chayang Kiln Site is located in Hulu Mountain Village, Taiping Town, Yanping District, dating back to the Song and Yuan dynasties.

The Chayang Kiln Site has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage conservation unit.

Hulu Mountain Village: Located in the southeast of Nanping City, Hulu Mountain Village in Taiping Town sits on the north bank of the Min River within Taiping Town. It is 35 kilometers from downtown Nanping, 15 kilometers from the high-speed railway station and the expressway, and 15 kilometers from the Taiping Town government. The Outer Fujian Railway, the Min River waterway, and the North Bank Highway all run past the village, offering convenient transportation and well-developed communications. It is a relocated village from the reservoir area of the Fujian Shuikou Hydropower Station. The village covers a total mountainous area of 53,923 mu, including 37,800 mu of forested land and 1,156 mu of arable land. It has 377 households with a population of 1,550, divided into ten villager groups across four natural villages (Hulu Mountain, Jinsha, Xincun, and Chayang).
