Administrative Jurisdiction

Nanshan Town, Yanping District, is situated in the central-northern part of Fujian Province, between longitude 118°16′–118°28′ and latitude 26°34′–26°43′.

It borders Yanghou Town to the east, Xiadao Town to the west, Chimen Township to the south, and both Dahuang Town and Jian’ou City to the north. It is 30 kilometers from downtown Nanping. The town covers an area of 197.38 square kilometers, with 24,100 mu of arable land, encompassing 26 administrative villages, 54 natural villages, and a population of 27,200.
