Xiayang Town: Xiayang Town is a famous historical and cultural town in Fujian Province, an important commercial hub, and a key grain-producing area in Yanping District. It is situated in the northwest of Nanping City, Fujian Province, approximately 48 kilometers from downtown Nanping. To the east, it connects with Mangdang Town; to the south, it borders Wangtai Town; to the west, it adjoins Shunchang County; and to the north, it neighbors Jian’ou. The town is embraced by Yuping Mountain and Zhaoke Mountain, with the Fulong River running through it, hence the name “Xiayang,” which means “a gorge between two mountains and water to the south of the mountains.” The area features a mid-subtropical monsoon climate, with no severe summer heat or winter cold.
