Administrative Jurisdiction

Nanshan Town, Yanping District, is situated in the central-northern part of Fujian Province, between longitude 118°16′–118°28′ and latitude 26°34′–26°43′.

It borders Yanghou Town to the east, Xiadao Town to the west, Chimen Township to the south, and is adjacent to Daheng Town and Jian’ou City to the north. The town is 30 kilometers from downtown Nanping. It covers an area of 197.38 square kilometers, with 24,100 mu of arable land, and administers 26 administrative villages, 54 natural villages, and a population of 27,200.
