Qing Imperial Tombs
The Qing Imperial Tombs are a cultural tourism attraction.
The Qing Imperial Tombs, commonly known as the Prince’s Tombs, are located in Xiaogang Township and Sungezhuang Township in the northeastern part of Jixian County, Tianjin. The northern part of the tomb area is bordered by Huanghua Mountain, while Zhuhua Mountain lies to the south, with the Eastern Qing Tombs situated just across the mountain to the east. Six princes of Emperors Shunzhi and Kangxi are buried on the southern slope of Huanghua Mountain, and one prince of Emperor Qianlong is interred on Zhuhua Mountain. The original tomb complex included a mountain gate, hall of offerings, side halls, underground palace with mound, stele pavilion, and more, all enclosed within a red wall. None of these structures remain today, only the building foundations and tomb steles are left.
