Recently, it was learned from the Jizhou Tourism Culture Group that the CCTV program 'Treasure Hunt' will hold a large-scale preliminary selection event in Jixian County on June 21. At that time, a team of special antique experts invited by the 'Treasure Hunt' program will provide free appraisals for folk collectors at the square of the new entrance area of Panshan Mountain in Jixian County.
Jixian County boasts a long history and rich culture, having been established as a county for over 2,230 years. It is recognized by the United Nations as a Millennium Ancient County and is also a renowned historical and cultural city in Tianjin. With its lush mountains and beautiful waters, the area features picturesque scenery and is considered the ecological core of northern Tianjin, earning the reputation of being the “back garden of Beijing and Tianjin.” The county is abundant in tourism resources, home to over 20 scenic spots including Panshan Mountain—one of China’s first batch of 5A-level tourist attractions—and has been designated as one of the first “National Demonstration Counties for Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism.” In recent years, while leveraging its rich tourism and cultural resources to accelerate economic and social development, Jixian County has also vigorously strengthened cultural construction. As a result, the cultural appreciation of its residents has continuously improved, and a craze for folk collecting has emerged.
It is reported that the registration period for this event ends on the afternoon of June 20. Treasure enthusiasts can sign up via email (jixianxunbao@163.com) or by calling one of three phone numbers (022-29826001, 022-29122630, 022-29828186), or they may register in person at the ticket hall of Panshan Scenic Area in Jixian County or at the Jixian Collectors Association. On June 21, the preliminary selection event will be held at the square of the new entrance area of Panshan Mountain; on June 26, the 'Treasure Hunt' program team will record the show at the gymnasium of Jixian No. 1 Middle School and will select, on-site, one collection item that best represents the historical and cultural characteristics of Jixian County as its “folk national treasure.”
