— “Ride” Together to Beautiful Jixian & Enjoy a Grand Tourism and Culture Feast
Recently, the press conference for the National Riders' Carnival – the First Harley Owners' Convention in Tianjin, featuring a motorcycle ride and electronic music festival, organized by the Harley-Davidson Tianjin Owner Club, was held at the Shengguang Marriott Hotel in Jixian. It was announced at the event that on August 7th, 300 Harley riders from across the country will gather in Jixian to hold a grand mountain road ride. While enjoying the beautiful scenery of the northern Jixian mountain area, the riders will also showcase to visitors the unique riding culture and thrilling experience brought by world-class motorcycles.
Jixian boasts picturesque landscapes and is known as the “Back Garden of Beijing and Tianjin.” In recent years, tourism and cultural events such as the Pear Garden Culture Festival, Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon, and Golden Autumn Tourism Festival have gained increasing influence, establishing themselves as well-known tourism brands in Tianjin. The Harley owners’ ride event in Jixian will play a positive role in further enhancing the region’s tourism visibility and expanding its international tourism market.
It is understood that Harley-Davidson is a top-tier global leisure motorcycle brand, established in 1903, and now has nearly one million members across more than 60 countries. After over 110 years of development, riding events have become an iconic part of Harley culture, with various rides held around the world every year. Since 2009, the Harley Owners Group has organized multiple nationwide ride events in locations such as Mount Tai, Huangshan, Qiandao Lake, Zhangjiajie, and Dandong.
It is reported that this event will involve 300 Harley motorcycles and 1,000 participants from across the country. On August 6th, owners will check in, and on August 7th, the ride will commence with a flag-off ceremony at the foot of Panshan Mountain, a 5A-level scenic spot in Jixian. Harley riders will follow a designated route to ride 100 kilometers through the scenic mountainous areas of Jixian. In the evening, an electronic music festival will be held at the New Gate Square in the Panshan Scenic Area, delivering a creative and distinctive musical event for riders and tourists alike.
