Tianjin Mountain Field RV Campsite
Tianjin Mountain Field RV Campsite is located in the mountain forest of Xiaying Town, Jixian District, Tianjin, bordering both Beijing and Hebei. The area enjoys smooth roads and convenient transportation. Situated in the prime section of Jixian’s scenic tourist zones, it lies just 1.5 kilometers north of Huangyaguan, the first mighty pass of the Great Wall in eastern Beijing; to the east, it neighbors famous national scenic spots such as Baxiantai and Jiulong Mountain; to the south, it borders the pebble-bottomed Ju River, which flows rapidly year-round; downstream lies the expansive Xiaying Reservoir. The base covers an area of more than 170 acres, with naturally undulating terrain and distinct levels, surrounded by mountains that stretch continuously and cliffs that stand densely, creating an ideal natural space for outdoor sports.
The overall design of the base aligns with current international and domestic concepts of car camping development, drawing on advanced experience. It is based on serving the public’s need for leisure and fitness, meeting the diverse needs of different campers, combining sports with tourism, and striving to build a brand of “sports tourism landscape.” It accommodates exercisers of all kinds and professional training, offers various outdoor sports trainings, and hosts outdoor sports competitions of different scales, forming the site’s three main functions. The campsite includes a tent camping area that can accommodate nearly a thousand people, 10 dedicated RV parking spaces, and nearly a hundred regular vehicle camping spots. Combined with the mountainous terrain, it features an adventure sports zone, and has carved out the largest natural rock climbing wall in China for both standard and youth climbing. Using the naturally undulating land, it has built a natural mountain biking track. There is also a radio direction finding area, a shooting range, and a comprehensive sports field. Leveraging the campsite as a platform and the surrounding natural resources, it has developed over ten sports activities including valley orienteering, mountain biking, rafting, stream tracing, fishing, rafting races, and diving, as well as mountain marathons and city wall climbing.
The construction of the campsite emphasizes harmony with nature, highlighting a wild mountain style and forming a unique artistic architectural tone. The service facilities of the campsite are designed to maximize a “people-oriented” and “humanized” approach, featuring high-end offerings such as a “Mountain Forest Bar,” “Forest Oxygen Zone,” “Cave Fitness Center,” “Recreation Plaza,” as well as high-standard guest rooms, washrooms, convenience stores, and other services. A team of professional sports and service management personnel has been trained to manage and serve the campsite, ensuring that campers can experience returning to nature, cultivating sentiment, and improving fitness upon entering the site, while enjoying convenient, standardized, warm, and top-tier services.
