Yuqiao Reservoir

Yuqiao Reservoir is located east of Jizhou County and is also called Cui Ping Lake by locals, named after the Cui Ping Mountain to the south. The reservoir has vast waters and beautiful scenery, which is especially stunning when viewed from Cui Ping Mountain. It is abundant in carp, attracting many visitors to taste it. There are many farmhouse inns by the lake, offering great dining and accommodation options. Every April, the reservoir sees many water birds, including whooper swans, white storks, and Eurasian spoonbills. In winter, you can also go ice-skating and enjoy the snow, making it a great destination for leisure and entertainment around Beijing and Tianjin.
