The Victory Monument of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression is a classic red tourism attraction and a patriotic education base.

The Victory Monument of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was built in July 2005 and completed in September 2005. It is located on Jinshuiquan Mountain in Luozhuangzi Town, Jixian County. Since its completion, the monument has received over 50,000 visitors from all walks of life for commemorative visits. In 2006, it was designated as a Tianjin Patriotic Education Base.

The monument complex covers an area of approximately 100 acres, with memorial buildings spanning about 1,000 square meters. It is divided into three parts: the Monument, the Tomb of Unknown Martyrs, and the Gate of Warning.

The main body of the monument stands 19.45 meters tall, symbolizing the great victory in the War of Resistance in 1945. The base is square-shaped, representing the solidarity and courageous struggle of 400 million people. The eight steps beneath the base signify the eight-year-long full-scale war of resistance. The relief wall behind the monument is 35.20 meters long, commemorating the 35.2 million compatriots who perished or were injured during the war. The rifle at the top of the monument forms a V-shape, holding a golden dove-shaped floral sphere, symbolizing the defense of peace and a warning against war. The 60 steps leading up to the monument represent the 60th anniversary of the victory. The reliefs on the front, left, and right sides of the base depict “Celebrating Victory,” “Fighting Bloodily,” and “The Whole Nation at War,” respectively, while the back features the inscription.

The Tomb of Unknown Martyrs of the War of Resistance is designed in a simple, natural, solemn, and serene style, expressing reverence and remembrance for the martyrs. It houses the remains of nine unnamed soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the war. At the front stands a symbolic stone coffin, surrounded by white marble wreaths, honoring the countless heroes and victims of the war.

The Gate of Warning for the War of Resistance features a main gate with a strong modern design, rising abruptly from the rugged triangular stone walls on both sides, symbolizing that the new era, with peace and development at its core, emerges from the hardships of the past. The gate is simple yet powerful, open and expansive, highlighting a positive and upward momentum, and conveying an indomitable force. It represents the great national and era spirit of the Chinese people, who, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, fought tenaciously and strived for national rejuvenation. The right wall symbolizes the impregnable Great Wall built by the Chinese people. The warning bell is 1.937 meters tall, marking the year 1937 when the full-scale war began, serving as a constant reminder for people to stay vigilant and never slacken in times of peace.
