Tiantu Fishing Village

Facing Huangze Yang and across from Shulang Island, the village has 95 fishing boats. With beautiful surroundings and a simple, friendly community, it is recognized as a municipal-level civilized village and a municipal well-off community. In recent years, the village committee has invested 3 million yuan to develop leisure fishery bases (mainly for fishing), fisherman's homestays, and the "Fisherman's Wharf" seafood dining and other tourism and leisure projects.

In April 2006, the Daishan County Qu Shan Tiantu Leisure Fishery Service Company was established, with a cumulative investment of 2.85 million yuan. Currently, there are 43 fisherman's homestay operators, 8 fisherman's guesthouses with a total of 50 beds, 6 night food stalls, 12 sea fishing tour boats, and an investment of 800,000 yuan was made to build the "Haifeng Park."

In March 2008, after joint review and evaluation by the Provincial Ocean and Fisheries Bureau and the Provincial Tourism Bureau, Tiantu Village in Qu Shan and 15 other units including the Yuyuan Eco-Agricultural Leisure Park in Xihu District, Hangzhou, were awarded the honorary title of "Zhejiang Province Leisure Fishery Demonstration Base." This is the third leisure fishery site in our county to receive this title, following Xiushan Lanxiu Fishing Farm in 2004 and Dongsha Xia'ao Fishing Village in 2007.
