Guanyin Mountain Scenic Area on Qushan Island
The southern foothills of Guanyin Mountain extend directly into Da’iqi Ocean. The mountain enjoys mild winters and cool summers, making it an ideal destination for tourism and summer retreats. From the mountaintop, one can overlook the vast sea, where towering waves crash against the shore, offering breathtaking views of the boundless, azure East China Sea.
The scenic area features a tranquil environment, warm as spring in winter and cool as autumn in summer. The mountaintop is often enveloped in drifting clouds and mist, appearing and disappearing amid ever-changing densities—hence the name “Guanyin Amidst the Mist.” Major attractions include the Guangji Temple on Guanyin Mountain, the Guanyin Mountain Jade Buddha Pagoda, the Samsung International Lighthouse, and the Double Dragons Playing with a Pearl.
